Skate Boston Skaters at the Boston State House

Skate Boston – July 16-18, 2010

Summer is approaching and the Inline Club of Boston invites you to join us for our annual weekend of skating and socializing!

New Hotel:  This year, we are happy to announce the Boston Marriott Cambridge/Kendall Square as our host hotel. In response to suggestions from last year, we have chosen a hotel with more amenities, but all for the same low price of $139/night!  Hotel guests will have access to a pool, fitness room, and beautiful roof-top garden. There are restaurant and bar services in the hotel, including Starbucks in the main lobby. Numerous other restaurants and cafes are across the street or within close walking distance of the hotel (Au Bon Pain, Legal Sea Food, Cosi). Rooms will book up quickly--reserve yours now!

Convenient Location:  Participants will be happy to know that there is a subway stop at the hotel (Redline/Kendall Square)!  Guests will be only two subway stops away from the well-known Harvard Square and Downtown Boston.  There is also a parking garage at the hotel.

Meals Included:  Our registration fee includes Saturday and Sunday lunches, Saturday night dinner, and a "sag wagon" stocked with snacks and water on all skates.

New Skate Routes:  Skates will be led by experienced members of the Inline Club of Boston and assisted by members of National Skate Patrol. There will be a Friday night skate, Saturday morning and afternoon skates, and a Sunday morning skate.

Social Events:  A Saturday night dinner will be included with the registration fee, as almost all participants elected to attend last year!

Freestyle Slalom:  New this year will be a freestyle/slalom skating competition, sponsored by SEBA.  Stay tuned for more details!

Spread the word to your skating friends... See you in Boston!
