Freestyle Competition!
For the second year, Skate Boston hosted a freestyle event! Skaters at all level were encouraged to participate. This competition was part of the North American Slalom Series, and the results for the top eight places were:
- 1st - Dan Tucker
- 2nd - Dennis Palmer
- 3rd - Shaw Chen
- 4th - Noam Zilberstein
- 5th - Yu Qiao (Autumn)
- 6th - Jun-Shik Whang
- 7th - Page Baker
- 8th - Richelle Berard
Thanks to all the skaters who participated, and thanks to the city of Cambridge for permitting the use of Corporal Burns Park!

Corporal Burns Park
We had a new park for our Saturday lunch and freestyle competition. It's located on the corner of Flagg St. and Memorial Dr., conveniently near bustling Harvard Square, and next to the scenic Harvard pedestrian bridge and the Charles river:
